Arthurs Seat Challenge

In 2018 Functioning Together was engaged to take over managing the Arthurs Seat Challenge, an iconic Mornington Peninsula event. The process included re-branding, focusing on sponsorship opportunities, and creating a new website.

The event was a great success, and a full review was conducted after the event. Proposed changes to the running of the event were proposed and the Committee accepted them, which led to an even more successful event the following year.

Organising the Arthurs Seat Challenge is a huge logistical task, including obtaining permits and approvals, organising road closures, sourcing sponsors, developing collaborative relationships, organising stallholders for the finish line, sourcing and managing volunteers, liaising with schools and community groups, creating marketing material, promoting the event, setting up registrations, liaising with entrants, managing the website, hiring suppliers, setting up, and ensuring all health and safety aspects are covered.

Each year Functioning Together has met the goals and continues to further enhance the entrant’s experience by introducing new elements to the event.
